Snapdragon Performance Visualizer

Snapdragon Performance Visualizer (SPV) is a comprehensive software tool suite that is designed to enable developers using the Snapdragon based processors to visualize, analyze and correlate the impact of detailed CPU and system data on application performance, making it easier to pinpoint and resolve performance bottlenecks..


SPV is available for external release to users via the Qualcomm Developer Network. Releases can also be accessed via Agile if the user is covered by a Qualcomm Tools License Agreement.

Patch Releases

SPV has patched a variety of open-source programs to add functionality or fix bugs. These patches are available here. Included are a significant amount of patches to the perf utility in Linux

Downloading and Building from Source

SPV is a hybrid Open Source/proprietary tool and not available to be built completely from the files maintained on CAF.  SPV is available through the Qualcomm Developer Network


The source code available for download from Code Aurora may be covered by one or more different licenses. The files in Code Aurora may contain changes and additions on top of the code from the original source. These changes and additions are covered under the same license as the original source. In many cases, the license is explicitly listed at the beginning of the file. A list of licenses is included for reference purposes only.
