DragonBoard8060

APQ8060-based DragonBoard

This DragonBoard includes an APQ8060 applications processor (excluding the WWAN capability), a sensor daughter card and RF (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology) daughter card – all of which are installed on the carrier board. The carrier board has a large number of test points and connectors like JTAG, ethernet, and miniUSB that enables a deep level of development, testing and expansion. A peripheral kit is also available which includes a battery, earphone, 1MP/5MP camera and a 480x800 display/touchscreen. It was launched in Fall 2011 and is distributed to over 500 different customers.

Follow the instructions in the attachment patchesDragonBoard8060.sh. These open source patches are needed for DragonBoard 8060 ICS release,they have the fix needed for Kernel and Android components, it has the build instructions too. Below are the build instructions for your reference.

The DragonBoard 8060A is an exposed board designed to be an easy-to-use platform showcasing the rich multimedia features of the Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 Plus APQ8060A processor.

DragonBoard 7x27A

MSM7x27A-based DragonBoard

This DragonBoard is based on Snapdragon S1 7x27A Application Processor to primarily target hardware component vendors in QRD (Qualcomm Reference Design) ecosystem. Component vendors can independently port their hardware on Qualcomm S1 processor using this open development platform and take the first step towards becoming member of QRD ecosystem. Mobile Development Platforms (MDP)

The Snapdragon Mobile Development Platform (MDP) is a full-featured, fully integrated development and demonstration platform for mobile developers to create, test, and optimize applications and user experiences for Snapdragon-powered devices. These platforms are made available to a broad ecosystem of HLOS partners, ODM/OEM customers, operators, as well as 3rd party app developers. The Linux Android variant of the MDP’s are supported and distributed to 3rd party application developers by BSQUARE, Please refer to BSQUARE web site for more information and to purchase the product at www.bsquare.com/qualcomm. Additional information and development tools are made available at Qualcomm Developer Network, located at http://developer.qualcomm.com.

Tablet 8064/ Inforce Computing SYS6440/IFC6410

The MDP/T is the first Snapdragon based Mobile Development Platform in a tablet form factor available to developers, middleware vendors and others. It features the Snapdragon™ S4 Pro APQ8064 processor by Qualcomm with asynchronous Quad CPU cores, running up to 1.5 GHz each. The tablet development platform offers powerful built-in graphics enabled by the Adreno™ 320 GPU, which is over two times faster than the 225 GPU on previous Snapdragon-based MDPs. Power management and multimedia efficiencies are also increased over previous MDPs due to the 2GB LPDDR2 RAM and 32GB Storage. The device also features a higher resolution 10.1 WXGA Multi-touch Display.

Current branch and manifest for APQ8064 Tablet would be release and A8064AAAAANLYA1335.xml respectively. It is not necessary to provide the exact branch.
